The AGSI’s 2nd Quarterly Meeting known as AmteConnect took place in the 20th floor pantry of CyberSigma on July 4, 2024. The focus/highlight was encouraging everyone to expand their business presence in the months and years ahead.
The event began with an inspiring speech from AGSI’s General Manager, Trini Ga, who
announced that AGSI has secured a partnership with the IT & Business Process Association Philippines (IBPAP). She expressed her enthusiasm about the collaboration, emphasized its potential to enhance AGSI’s capabilities and expand its market reach.
“This partnership with IBPAP represents a pivotal moment for AGSI,” she remarked. “It aligns perfectly with our strategic goals of innovation and growth in the dynamic landscape of global services.” And with both organizations committed to leveraging their strengths and resources, these hold promising opportunities for expansion, excellence, and leadership in the evolving landscape of global business services. Along with that, a program collaboration is set to commence in the coming months.
Following the exciting announcement of AGSI’s partnership with IBPAP, she continued to discuss the current business status by highlighting AGSI’s recent employee growth– proudly announcing the additional 14 new members to the team, known as the “fAmtec members.” This expansion underscored AGSI’s commitment to bolstering its workforce and preparing for future challenges in the global services sector.
Transitioning seamlessly, Kathryn Tobias, AGSI’s Business Unit Manager, then provided insights into AGSI’s comprehensive training programs designed to empower its employees. She outlined recent initiatives including the Labor and Employment training focused on continuous professional and personal development for the back-office team. Moreover, she highlighted AGSI’s commitment to leadership development with specialized HR training for leaders across the organization. These initiatives aim not only to strengthen AGSI’s leadership bench but also to empower managers with the tools and insights needed to support their teams effectively.
Additionally, the atmosphere at AGSI’s recent event buzzed with enthusiasm and pride as Ms. Nylle Llandelar, AGSI’s Social Media Specialist was also in attendance to talk about recent accomplishments on AGSI’s social media platforms.
Along with an exciting update, the results of the AGSI’s logo-making contest were announced, marking a significant step in the company’s rebranding initiative. The contest showcased the creativity and talent of its participants, with three winners emerging from different divisions.
Marco Badua from the VA Team secured third place, impressing Jay with his innovative design. PJ Espiritu from the RPO Team came in second, demonstrating remarkable artistic skills and a keen eye for detail, and the top spot went to David Marquez from the HR and Admin Team, whose outstanding logo captured the essence of AGSI’s new brand identity.
Each winner received a ₱1,000.00 SM Gift Certificate as a token of appreciation for their hard work and creativity. Their contributions not only showcased their individual talents but also the collaborative spirit and diversity within AGSI, highlighting the company’s commitment to embracing fresh ideas and creativity as it embarks on its rebranding journey.
Moreover, Ms. Karen Vitasa, BPO Team Manager, disclosed that AGSI had acquired 4 new clients, each with 1 seat filled. She also highlighted a signed agreement for an upgrade of services – a client who transitioned from sourcing candidates to performing full-cycle recruitment. This marked a significant step forward for the company, reflecting its growing reputation and trust within the industry.
The event included a segment to recognize individuals who continued to show exceptional service and commitment to the company. James Dela Cruz, Lael Simbol, and Abigail Valino were honored for reaching their one-year milestone with AGSI. Their enthusiasm and hard work have made a significant impact in a short period. Meanwhile, Joseph Gonzalez, Jam Taleon, Aira De Leon, and Lianne Reynoso were recognized for their two years of dedicated service, each contributing consistently to AGSI’s growth and success. Lastly, Patricia Lopez was celebrated for her remarkable four years of service, embodying loyalty and excellence.
Apart from that, those who set high standards for the second quarter were commended at the event. Nikka Joy Llaneta, Jaya Diaz, Iza Siatong, and Adrianne Alcala received special recognition for their exceptional quarterly performances. Their dedication and achievements have not only driven AGSI forward but also inspired their colleagues to strive for excellence.
The event culminated with an inspiring and motivational speech by Jay Ramos, AGSI President. He reminded the team about the importance of understanding their own goals and dreams, emphasizing that true fulfillment comes from aligning these personal aspirations with their professional paths. His words served as powerful reminders of the company’s commitment to personal growth and self-awareness. The room was filled with renewed motivation and a shared sense of purpose, as Sir Jay’s message focused on the company’s values and the importance of each individual’s contribution to AGSI’s success.
The event ended on a high note, leaving everyone inspired to continue striving for excellence, both personally and professionally.
